24 Hour Ploughing Challenge Update
We have had an eventful day so far at the 24 Hour Ploughing Challenge. We kick started the day with a round of bacon sarnies and hot drinks followed by kind words from our local Vicar and a 1 minute silence in memory of Arthur Mason who sadly lost his life in a tragic farming accident 1 year ago on the 9th July 2014.
After everyone had chatted and were fed and watered, the sponsored driving teams took to the fields in their tractors at 11am to begin their 24 hour ploughing challenge. They have now ploughed just over half of the field, but in order to complete their challenge they must finish the remainder before 11am tomorrow (Thursday 9th July 2015)
If you find that there’s very little to do this evening, please join your local community to support the drivers whilst they plough through the night. There’s hot & cold drinks, BBQ food available and a fire pit to gather around for a natter. If you get here before the sun goes down, you can have a go at clay pigeon shooting.

All money raised will go to Moth in A China Shop, to help and support areas where health, sport and nutrition is not well established.
Finally, just a quick THANK YOU to all those who have come along today to support both Arthur’s family and Moth in a China Shop.
Best wishes from all of us at Moth in a China Shop
