ABOUT MOTH IN A CHINA SHOP
BROTHER’S IN ARMS
The charity Moth in a China Shop was set up in 2015 in memory of Arthur Mason.
In July 2014 Arthur Mason was involved in a tragic, fatal accident on the family farm in Fincham near Swaffham, Norfolk. The months and years following the accident have been difficult for family and friends; Arthur was a positive, fun loving and caring young man who touched so many during his short life.
Unfortunately, the sadness does not end with Arthur.
In December 2018 his brother Harold tragically lost his life in a car accident aged just 23. Harold was also adored by many, this caring, beautiful, fun young man also touched so many people in such a short time.
The family wanted something positive to come from their tragic losses.
The charity Moth in a China Shop was set up initially in Arthur’s memory but now also in Harold’s memory.
Arthur was a keen rugby player and Harold was a scuba diver instructor. Both planned to join the family business, Mr Hugh’s Cold Pressed Rapeseed oil. Because of this the charity’s focus is on sport and health, offering support and education to all age groups in these areas.
